Tammy has been my kidney transplant nurse coordinator for all 3 of my transplants, over 15 years. I have a rare disease and she has been there through it all. In the past even when I am difficult or frustrated or to share the joys; she has always been there. She is my advocate and my support through dark times and shared in joyful times. She even goes above and beyond when she does not have to, like ordering an ultrasound or encouraging me not to give up or lose hope despite very dark times. She is such a blessing. My illness puts me at a very high risk for rejection, yet she and my Doctor have always been there fighting for me to have a better quality of life. She has worked over 30 years in transplants but makes you feel like you are her only patient. We are so thankful for her years of excellence and compassion and humor!
