Tammy is a very dedicated, compassionate and genuinely caring nurse. This was exhibited when a patient's shoes could not be located prior to his discharge. Tammy was off that day. Tammy immediately began a search to find the shoes and also the patient, who was homeless. After much searching for the shoes and phone calls to locate the patient, both were found. Tammy along with a coworker personally delivered the shoes to him at the Men's Shelter where he was staying and placed them in his hands. The patient was elated and had tears of joy that his only pair of shoes had been found. "No task is too large or too small for Tammy, if it means helping another, especially if they happen to be a patient."
