Tammy is a consistent presence in the office with a caring hand and voice to patients going through the most difficult of situations. She routinely goes well above and beyond what is expected to deliver care to homebound patients.

Most recently she drove to a patient's house on her lunch break to get her signed up for a patient assistance program. Tammy helped her complete some very complex forms, and then once the medicine was delivered to the office, she personally took it to her. This is amazing since the patient is elderly, homebound, visually impaired, and very limited access to transportation. The medicine was a potentially life-saving medication and gaps in this medicine need to be avoided. Tammy has even set a reminder on her computer so she can complete this form annually for this patient. The patient is incredibly appreciative of this care.

On another occasion, Tammy has made personal visits to the home of one of our patients who struggles with food insecurity. Tammy brought her meals and groceries. The patient, who has cancer and debilitating pain likewise has no access to transportation and during the pandemic has struggled even more. Tammy exhibits the finest in empathic care. She is an asset to our clinic and in many cases a lifeline to our patients.
