Tammy has been an excellent preceptor and role model. I worked with her in the emergency room and was honored when she accepted to precept me as an NP student. She works in family practice and provides care to patients from all walks of life. She has never passed judgment on a patient based on their culture or ethnicity and is a provider who is set on making an impact in others' lives with the hopes of making changes in patients' care. Tammy is continuously reading and studying research material, evidence-based practices, and journals to seek ways to improve the care she provides to patients as well as making changes in the clinic she works at to adapt to the changes to have a better patient outcome and care.
