Tammy R Bakken, BSN, RN

Tammy is the ANM of the Main Operating Room. She often fills the PACU ANM vacancy when the ANM is out on leave, without being asked. She helps round on staff daily, helps with payroll, staffing, ordering supplies, and provides guidance and reassurance to staff while their ANM is out.

Tammy goes above and beyond to ensure the staff and I feel supported. She allows me time to support my staff, complete deliverables, and keep my departments running with only one ANM because she is extremely dedicated and cares greatly about our staff and the safety of our patients.

I could not do this alone and am extremely grateful for her commitment and dedication to all of our Perioperative Staff and Patients. Tammy is a rockstar and very deserving of this DAISY Nurse Leader Award.
