Tammy Smith has been one of my dad's nurses during this stay at West Houston. She was also his nurse on another stay in the old ICU. I have been through a rough week with my dad this time and she has been so kind and goes above and beyond. She always keeps me posted on his condition. Today, she was supposed to be off but she come to work as she knew today they were removing my dad's breathing tube and when wanted to be there. She also wanted to be the one to call me. I really appreciate her genuine care and concern.
