I had the scariest, most intense week of my life after I received a diagnosis of Lymphoma while being 27 weeks pregnant. I was really sick, and so much was happening. But my nurse, Tammy, was my guardian angel. She stayed right by my side during the procedure I had done, held my hand, encouraged me, and helped me survive. When I was in the MRI struggling to breathe, she sat at my head and stroked my hair. I could not have done it without her. She also served as my advocate, and helped keep me updated on my care plan. She even went out of her way to make my room friendlier so my 3 year old daughter wasn't so scared to see "mommy sick."
I could not be more appreciative of all the small and big things Tammy did for me. She is a skilled nurse who works hard, and has the very best healing heart. I know I could not have made it without her.
