I have been an ETCH employee for over thirteen years now and I have worked with and currently work with many exceptional nurses and medical professionals. With that being said, I have never come across anyone that is quite like Tania. She is not only very intelligent and clinically competent; she is the sweetest and most caring person I have ever met! She is a genuine kind-hearted soul. She provides excellent care to her patients and also goes above and beyond to help out others on the unit. She seeks out opportunities to help people. Tania is bilingual and can speak Spanish. If a Spanish speaking only family is admitted, her eyes light up knowing that she can make that family feel more comfortable with communication. Even if she is not the patient's primary nurse she tells the families that if they need anything they can ask for her by name. She is so selfless in her care and gives 110% to her patients and families. I have never heard her say a negative word about anything or anybody. I know if my child was ever admitted to the hospital I would love for her to be our nurse. She is a wonderful coworker and ETCH/3 West is so lucky to have her. I cannot even begin to do her justice, but I do know that Tania is an Extraordinary Nurse.
