Niah was my mom's nurse for two overnight shifts during her hospitalization for infection and delirium. She was unbelievably sweet, comforting, caring, and patient. My mom has dementia and was a difficult patient. Niah was so good to her and good to me as well. She did everything possible to make sure my mom was comfortable, clean, and taken care of while also ensuring my own comfort while I stayed in the hospital with my mom. She was also very respectful and was so sweet to answer my questions and make sure I understood what was going on. She had such a great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable, even though my mom was not really aware of what was going on. Besides her great competence with clinical nursing skills, it is obvious that she is a wise, kind soul with a heart of gold who was born to provide care and comfort for others. She treated my mother like my mom was her own grandmother. I am so grateful to her for the care she gave us and wish her well in her nascent nursing career!
