I had the privilege of being cared for by Tanishia, who truly went above and beyond. Her words and understanding helped me get through a very tough night. If she wasn't a nurse, I'd say she should be a counselor. The comfort and kindness she showed me that night will stay with me a long time after I leave the hospital. She took the time to stop and listen to me. She was compassionate, empathetic, and genuinely cared about how I was feeling.
