Tanna Ditch, RN

Tanna exemplifies compassion. She is one of the most compassionate and empathetic nurses at NOPH. She takes the time to time to get to know her patients and their personalities. She tailors her approach to meet their needs and speaks to them at their level. She is honest with her patients and she treats them as though they are people in crisis, not as though they are something to be pitied, feared, or looked down upon. She uses her approach to develop a rapport and is adept at leveraging that rapport to participate in treatment. While she is a fierce advocate for her patients, she remains professional in her interactions with other members of the care team and members of the community. She makes it clear to the LPNs and TPWs that she works with them and that she values their contributions to providing excellent care to our patients. She partners with the MDs, psychologists, and social workers to help deliver that care. She uses her honest, straightforward approach to ensure that her patients understand why they are here, and what they must do to improve so they can move forward. I would like to thank her for her commitment to our patients and the quality of care that she provides.
