I met Tanya Bradley on the first night I was admitted to the ICU. It had been a hard day for me as she came into the room and introduced herself with a professionalism you would expect from someone in the healthcare industry.
Her smile and friendly manner were contagious. Immediately, she focused on my needs. Showing the quality of nurses and care Harris Regional Hospital provides. I felt not only respected but genuinely cared for.
When my veins were uncooperative, Tanya was there alongside the phlebotomist to assist in any way needed. The teamwork I saw was beyond impressive and put my mind at ease. It was truly an incredible experience, and I believe a lot of it was due to Tanya.
I agree that professionalism, quality, respect, service, and teamwork are very important criteria. I also believe Tanya checked every criterion on the list, but that is not why I believe Tanya is a DAISY Nurse.
