Tanya went above and beyond by sitting with me, asking about my mental well-being, and truly listening. They did not treat it like just another task-they made space for my story, and in return, shared a bit of their own. There is strength and vulnerability, and in that moment, it reminded me that I am not alone. During our conversation, there was no judgment, only compassion and understanding. Their presence made me feel seen, heard, and cared for in a way that went far beyond medical care. It was a beautiful human interaction in a time when I was feeling shame as a flawed mother. I just hope they know it truly touched me that they saw me without judgment.
