During one of the worst obstetrical emergencies I have ever been involved in, Tanya was right there! She responded to the code immediately, asked where she was needed, and took over, recording the events as they transpired. This may seem like a small job, however, I can tell you that when the emergency was over and we had a stable mother and baby, I was able to talk to Tanya, look at her notes, and document without any difficulty. Her ability to capture important information made my job so much easier. She did not leave until she knew everything and everyone was in a good place. I hope Tanya realizes how important she was in this situation, and I'm sure many other situations as well!
