Tanya works extremely hard in order to ensure her patients' needs are met. Most days, Tanya consistently shows colleagues how to interact with even the most difficult patients. Her professionalism is exemplary and she maintains a positive attitude in negative circumstances. Her knowledge of her profession continues to grow as she takes on new challenges. Tanya has the trust of her senior staff nurses as well as the physicians. Tanya's interaction with family members demonstrates a caring that goes above and beyond just patient care. For example, Tanya is willing to alleviate family concerns towards any alarming changes in patient condition. Tanya is respectful towards family and the patient when conditions deteriorate. Aside from just a hard worker, Tanya's positive attitude is infectious to fellow staff even on the worst days. Colleagues are willing to go to Tanya for advice and counsel on aspects of patient care. Tanya's willingness to go above and beyond sets an example for all of us in CICU to follow.
