Tara has on many occasions gone above her job title. She has listened to me freak out about my kids for days when my youngest has been placed in psychiatric facilities. She has made room for me to see a provider at the end of the day and stayed late on her time to get me paperwork. Recently she walked me through what I needed to do when my blood pressure was out of whack. At the end of the day, after I saw the doctor, she called me to make sure what my blood pressure was before she went home. There have been many times that I have needed to come in after being released from the hospital, and she makes it possible for me to get in and feel comfortable about being home after being released from the hospital. She talked quietly and patiently so I could understand everything. She talked to me about how my Lyme disease is interfering with my comprehension, and I get agitated very quickly because I don’t understand and can’t respond the way I need to. I’m very RELIEVED, PROUD, and RELAXED that Tara Banks is my nurse not only when I walk into the office but at all times. When I walk in, my anxiety is extremely high and the waiting room is extremely loud Tara makes sure I get in as quickly as possible so I don’t leave and have to come back another time due to the fact of my PTSD. There are so many wonderful qualities about her, and how she goes up and beyond just her title I could go on all day and all night. It’s all the wonderful things that she has done as a nurse and as a person who cares. Thank you, Tara.
