Tara went above and beyond to create a positive and safe environment for her patient. Her patient suffers from anxiety since a very early age. A ‘simple’ procedure can produce a stressful and challenging situation for her patient. As a result of this, Tara took extra time to schedule a couple of “dry runs” so this patient would know what to expect and become familiar with the process and decrease the patient’s anxiety level. Tara took the time to listen and take suggestions needed to make this experience successful. Tara stepped outside of pre-op's customary process to ensure that her patient’s needs were met and that her patient felt valued and heard.
