My own children refer to Tara as their "school mom".
Tara is a hidden gem that most hospital staff do not get the pleasure of interacting with day to day. She is amazing with the students that she interacts with every day. She goes beyond being a school nurse. She exemplifies empathy, compassion, and humor to reach out to each one of the kiddos. My own children refer to her as their "school mom". They request "Miss Tara" for sports physicals, vaccines, or if something comes up at school. I have seen her interactions with other students, and they all adore her. Her sweet disposition, her basket of candy, her kind texts to ease parent's concerns, and her countless hours of dedication on and off the clock do not go unnoticed!
