My husband and I worked with Tara in the ICU. She was the nurse who admitted him the night of a car accident that left him in critical condition. Tara jumped in without hesitation to take on not only the stress of a critically sick trauma patient but also the emotional burden of caring for a coworker. She worked tirelessly to stabilize him, all while staying calm and explaining what she was doing for the family. Tara also cared for my husband the next night and helped prepare for his transfer. She saw my own fear and anxiety along with the family’s and went above and beyond to address them and ensure safe travel for the patient. This was just one example that shows the kind of nurse Tara is. Working alongside her, I have seen the dedicated care she gives to all her patients. She is also an amazing coworker who jumps in to help without being asked. She is able to quickly assess a situation and know what needs to be done. My family and I are forever grateful for the loving care she provided!
