We had a 9-year-old boy getting labs done and the newer lab tech had missed the vein. The young boy was nervous and scared, and Tara walked by and saw this and jumped right in and started talking to the boy and asked if she could try. He was pale and nervous, and his mom said yes. So, Tara talked him up and got the vein. That isn’t the first time she has dropped what she was doing to help her coworkers and patients. Showing the true meaning of love and compassion.
