Tara Kellett, RN
Our 87-year-old father suffered several seizures while our family was here to support him. There is one very special young lady, Tara, who had just started her shift, watched what was happening, helped where she could, and completely understood the gravity of the situation. We (the adult children) were exhausted from the emotional toll of all that had taken place.
Tara stayed with us as we processed all that had happened. Her tender heart and special encouragement, after such an emotional roller coaster, is the essence of what true nursing is all about. Tara’s comforting words and presence gave us an extraordinary sense of peace.
Tara even went the extra mile. She left us a handwritten note for us to find the next morning. This tender note was full of information addressing our specific concerns. Her sweet message of blessing our family is a precious reminder of the amazing care that Tara exhibited. We will always treasure her note, her kindness, and most importantly, the care for our father.
