I am writing to formally recognize an exceptional member of your team—Tara— Dr. D's nurse, whose level of service, professionalism, and genuine care truly stands out.
Over the course of preparing for and undergoing my recent endoscopy, Tara went above and beyond in every possible way- on several calls. From accommodating a last-minute appointment to guiding me through the full scope of logistics—both pre- and post-procedure—Tara handled everything with remarkable ease, clarity, and expertise. Tara took the time to explain exactly what to expect, ensuring I felt informed, prepared, and at ease throughout what could have been a very stressful experience.
What makes Tara so extraordinary is not just her competence, but her presence. Tara is incredibly smart, reliable, and thoughtful—but equally important, Tara is warm, patient, and sincerely kind. Every interaction felt personal and attentive. At one point, I genuinely felt as though I had a best friend at NYU looking out for me—an incredibly rare and meaningful experience in a medical setting.
In all my years working with nurses and professionals across many industries, I can honestly say Tara is one of the most impressive individuals I’ve encountered in a very long time. Tara's ability to combine deep knowledge with such grace, empathy, and efficiency is truly special.
