While I was in labor and when the contractions were getting stronger and closer together I had a hard time focusing on my breathing. I couldn't stay calm. But her voice helped me. The tone of her voice was very soothing and her choice of words helped me to know I had the strength to get through labor. When I felt I wasn't strong enough she reminded me that the pain was only temporary. After delivery, both my fiance and I loved the way she cared for our son. She handled him so gently and made sure to tell us all the information that we needed to help us care for him better ourselves.
