Tara is an absolute treasure. She goes above and beyond her duty as a nurse, making sure both the patient and the family are well cared for.
I am a 79-year-old female, and I have not been in the hospital since 1984. When I was brought into the hospital by ambulance with severe back pain, I was very frightened. I spent Sunday night and most of the day Monday in the ER having tests run, and was very nervous. Everyone was very nice to me, and the ER crew was wonderful and seemed to work well together. I was also very impressed by the very good care I was given by the ambulance people. I was afraid and felt like just one of the new patients, and very alone and nervous. They moved me to a room on late Monday.
On Tuesday morning, my day nurse, Tara, walked into the room. She was a beautiful ray of sunshine; all smiles, surrounded by a friendly face with happy eyes and a soft, lit aura. She was my first ray of hope. I felt like my nerves were calming, and my fear was being lifted. She explained things, smiled a lot, and had me laughing. Tara was very friendly while being in charge. Her big, beautiful heart melted my fears and took away doubt. She helped me regain my self-esteem. I no longer felt alone. Tara was a blessing and was my saving grace. Her honesty and inner beauty are unsurpassed. Now I feel relieved and feel that I can do this. Thanks to Tara!

Tara is an absolute treasure. She goes above and beyond her duty as a nurse, making sure both the patient and the family are well cared for. She has treated us like we were well-loved members of her own family! She is a shining example of what a nurse should be. Her respectful care and consideration of her patient help to ease the anxiety of being in the hospital. More importantly, she listens when you speak. We are very thankful and blessed to have had Tara for our nurse. This is not our first time being here and having Tara as our nurse. Thank you so much for the care you gave our mom.
