Tara Smith, MSN, RN, teaches nursing students in the school?s Maternal Child Nursing Course. She has been in this role at the school since completing her master?s degree in Nursing Education at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. She is an active member of numerous student and faculty committees at the school. Regarding Tara, one student commented, ?She embodied a nurse that I hope to model myself into as my nursing career moves forward. She was a fantastic role model and should be recognized for her skills not only as a nurse but as an excellent educator as well?.
