Tara Steele, RN

Tara embraces the Bayhealth values every day! Most recently 5B has had a young woman who is homeless with a long length of stay. Tara has taken the time to build a trusting relationship with this patient. Tara has learned her likes, dislikes, and personality. Tara brought her clothes, and books to read. She even shared the patients 'likes' with her coworkers in case anyone else wanted to bring items in. Although this patient does not have the best situation, Tara has taken the time to see the best in the patient. Even if this patient is not a part of Tara's assignment, she takes the time to stop in and see the patient. She loves when Tara is working! As soon as she sees Tara, you see her smile glowing. This is just the most recent example of why Tara is an Extraordinary Nurse.
