Tara Tostenson received three nominations for the DAISY award. One from a coworker that wanted to recognize her "acts of caring and compassionate professionalism". Not only had she witnessed this exceptional care as a coworker, but as a patient that was cared for by Tara as well. The other nominations were from patients who recognized her for being "extremely caring" and "going out of her way" to keep her informed.
