When you think of a nurse, Tara Twing is the perfect example. She took over outpatient infusion as the RN lead last summer. She has so much compassion and empathy for our patients. Furthermore, Tara is a natural leader. She is a great communicator and knows what it takes to get the job done.

She wants everybody to be part of the team and involves everybody in every decision that we make. She has grown so much as a leader in the last six months. I am honored and humbled to be able to work with such a fine caregiver and an amazing person.

The caregivers respect Tara and know that she has their best interests in mind. She is also a very creative problem solver. Tara's clinical expertise is so valuable to the department. She helps train new nurses and sets them up for success. The cancer program so lucky to have an RN like Tara.
