When we had to change our birth plan in an instant due to hypertension, I was crushed. However, when I was at my lowest point, sobbing from a mixture of pain, panic, and trying to make the right decision, Tarah walked in and immediately reaffirmed my new choices of an epidural. I don't think I will ever forget her joy when she said, "Let's have a baby today!" She mothered me as I was becoming a mother myself. She comforted me at my lowest, got my baby here safely, and was so comforting in all the changes that happened over the next few days.
From labor complications to our baby's sugar issues, she was a calm comfort during some very scary and unplanned events! She was always going above and beyond to explain everything to me. I know she had to have been very busy, but she made me feel so loved and like I was her only focus. I am so thankful that she walked in when she did. She was the turning point in my delivery! She made me feel so capable and confident during a crazy experience. God had his hand all over that meeting and that moment! Thank you, Tarah, for being there for our family in such a huge way! We will never forget you!
