Tee Jaye could simply open the eyes of a non-clinician or co-worker to make them understand empathy, compassion and caring are not requirements of a nurse but a standard that affects me walking out of the hospital's doors when better or once served like any business I would enter or do business with. Tee Jaye's moral compass, I believe, is a flagship in quality and competent bedside knowledge and care. To have a nurse explain my care and follow-up with any concerns or issues I may have is not found wide range these days. Tee Jaye explains with patience and never made me feel judged or unimportant. Those are all signs of a leader and a true steward and bedside champion. It is by far that you receive the type of care that Tee Jaye delivers but it is reassuring that angels and advocates exist.
