Taryn Williams was my nurse back in October. I had a double mastectomy, and along with many tubes & drains, I was very sick. Taryn made me feel as if I were her own family member. Taryn is a wonderful nurse. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was comfortable. I truly believe that Taryn is the best choice for her excellent bedside manner. She was consistently asking how I felt and if I needed anything. When she left the room, she let me know when my meds were due by writing them on the board. That made me feel safe and well taken care of.

Taryn is highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate team player who constantly displays and promotes the highest ethical standards. She effectively demonstrates the true meaning of patient-family partner and advocate. I would also like to tell Taryn that her work makes a difference. I feel like I could not have gone through this major surgery and post-op ordeal without her help. In my opinion, she is the epitome of the DAISY Award. Her knowledge is excellent, but her care is beyond excellent. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease in her care; it was literally like having my best friend there to hold my hand. Taryn is a very deserving nurse. She not only meets but exemplifies Banner's mission and values. Her extraordinary compassion gave me peace while I was so sick. She created an environment where attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, and ethical behavior are all worthy of the DAISY Award. I believe, with my heart, that Taryn is an advocate for her team. My family and I are truly grateful for her.
