Tasha Fligge, RN

In spring of this year, my son broke his arm and was rushed to the ER in Townsend. We met there with immediate and excellent care. What first appeared to be a routine broken arm, suddenly escalated as my son did not have a pulse in his forearm. Our nurse, Tasha, was calm and collected the entire time as the decisions were made to MedFlight my son to Billings.

As we waited for the airplane, Tasha was able to remain focused and enable my wife, son and myself to remain calm during a very stressful time. I greatly appreciated Tasha's honesty about the seriousness of the situation and yet provided comfort for us with reassuring care. My son was flown to Billings to receive outstanding treatment and because of his surgery, he is expected to make a full recovery.

As I think back to that day, Tasha's care, compassion and concern for my son and our family stands out as a bright spot on what could have been a very dark day. I am and will forever be thankful for the care we received from Tasha. She is a true DAISY Nurse!
