The patient was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been in a lot of pain. The patient had been very emotional and crying off and on all day. Tasha sat with this patient, held her hand, talked to her and answered all her questions. She took the patient outside in a wheelchair for some fresh air. During their outing, the patient said to her "all I want is a salad and bread sticks from Olive Garden". Tasha made a phone call and had a friend go to Olive Garden and granted the patient's wish by buying her salad and bread sticks. Tasha surprised the patient when she took the Olive Garden food into her room. The patient started crying and Tasha was crying. Her kind gesture really made the patient's day!
