I was working one day and witnessed a conversation between Tasha and her patient. He was telling her that could not afford his medications and that he would just go home without them. Tasha explained to him how important it was that he get these medications. He still said he would just go home and that he would "be fine". Tasha then got up to get a wheelchair to discharge him. On their way out, she did something I was surprised by but considering it was Tasha it truly isn't that surprising. She stopped at the pharmacy and paid out of her own pocket for his medications. This amazing individual did not have to do this for this patient, but she did it because that's the type of person she is. I just wanted to share this story with you because she is a humble person and wouldn't tell anyone what she did. Having witnessed this act of generosity, I felt it was my place to share it.
