My partner and I have just had our baby and are still currently in NPICU. During this time so far one Nurse has made our time that little bit easier with the roller-coaster we are currently on with our precious little one.
Tasma Talbot was there to support us with family meetings with doctors and there to listen and break down those meetings afterward. Tas constantly checking in on us to make sure that we were doing okay and offered a very supportive ear when we were needing guidance and understanding of questions that arose.
Tas has made us feel more comfortable in our home away from home in our little NPICU space, even just by general conversations about day-to-day life to try to keep our minds away from what was happening or to just have some sort of normality. Not sure if it was intentional on Tasma's part but even when my partner and I were feeling down and struggling with the day Tas always found a way to make us laugh by the end of it.
We honestly don't know how we would have made it through the first two weeks in NPICU without Tas!
