I don’t even know where to start to thank you for everything you did for me while I was in the hospital. I know that I was a pain in the butt. I am sorry about that. That is not me at all. I have never been in the mental state of mind as I was in there. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and only remember the last three days. My family tells me that’s a good thing!
I want to really thank you for going to bat for me with the doctor. I’m sorry that you got “attitude” as I didn’t mean for you get in trouble. I am so very proud of you for seeing I couldn’t take anymore and letting them know that. That, to me, makes you a wonderful, wonderful nurse! You not only used your training, you lead with your heart. You really are doing what you should be doing because of your passion for people.
There really aren’t the right words to express my appreciation for what you did for me. I hope not to see you again, only because that would mean that I’d be in the hospital again. But you are in my heart and I will never forget how you “saved” me. By the way, I did get my hair combed out and haven’t gotten it cut yet…but I’m going to!
