Compassion- this is the word that comes to mind when I reflect on the care Tatiana has given us. Tatiana demonstrated incredible professionalism and competence. She was attentive and met my daughter's needs daily. She is an excellent nurse, but there's more to Tatiana's service than her skills and ability to execute her duties. Tatiana was there for me in the middle of the night when my daughter was sound asleep and finally without pain. The moment I chose to walk the hallway and found myself alone and frightened, overwhelmed by this moment in time, Tatiana reached out. She listened, she understood, and she advised. She did it all with grace and compassion. She listened and was there for me when I needed. Tatiana's compassion makes her an excellent nurse. She listened to all our needs and cared for us physically and emotionally. She is a gift to the profession and to the families at CHOP. Most importantly, she was my gift. Thank you, Tatiana, for being you and for gracing us with your gifts.
