Tauna Egan, RN

Today I watched Tauna comfort and quietly hug the wife of a patient who had passed away in the ER. She didn’t say a word. Her embrace said it all! As someone who struggles with hugs/human contact, I could feel the love and strength that she was giving this heartbroken wife. Tauna is an amazing nurse! She is tough as nails with the heart of an angel! When I grow up, I want to be just like Nurse Tauna!!! In an environment where kindness is oftentimes viewed as a weakness, I am honored to have witnessed such love and kindness being shown. This is what TRUE nursing entails! I am grateful to have worked with Tauna!
