Not only did Tavia care for my son well, but she also cared for him beautifully. In the care she provided, I saw love, concern, honesty, interest, compassion, wisdom, authenticity, and empathy.
Tavia was the second professional I met upon entering the Intensive Care area on the 3rd floor. Tavia was very pleasant, courteous, and eager to help. She was the first professional to welcome and attend to my son upon his arrival from post-operative recovery.

Immediately, she was hands-on, caring, attentive, reflective, precise, gentle, knowledgeable, and very neatly dressed. I could go on and on about her astounding presence. It was almost as if Tavia wrote the Nursing manuals. My son is a frequent flyer in an area hospital, and the staff is truly wonderful. However, I have only met a handful of "Tavias" throughout his eight years of hospitalizations.

Not only did Tavia care for my son well, but she also cared for him beautifully. In the care she provided, I saw love, concern, honesty, interest, compassion, wisdom, authenticity, and empathy. I saw, felt, and experienced so many great moments in her treatments. I can't really put them into words because they were just that unique. I was confident in her, as I drew from her confidence in herself as a Provider. She is truly a G O A T.

I guess the most important thing Tavia did for me outside of the protection she showered on my baby, was restoring my faith in Public Health Services. I needed to be reminded that people like her still exist, and they are sprinkled all over this world. And what unspeakable joy it is to be blessed by them wherever you find them.

She was neat. She didn't make a mess.

She was gentle with him. She handled him lovingly and covered him back up.

She had manners; "Excuse me" and "Thank You."

She kept her word by doing what she promised.

She was calm and quiet while even sitting at her computer.

She was present. She listened well. I didn't have to explain a lot. She understood.

She was experienced and shared her wisdom humbly without acting or sounding like she was sharing her wisdom.

She was committed. She focused solely on my son's comfort, his numbers, and his facial expressions.

She was thorough and comprehensive. She checked everything: his positioning, cast, pillows...

She brought the "WoW".
