I was in the respiratory unit in May feeling really down. Could not breathe, eat, and felt very sick when Tawana Moon walked in my room with a bright smile and a cheerful Hello. Ready to talk and take extraordinary care of me, very nice, professional, a true people person, she made me feel like a real person.
With compassionate care, Tawana took care of me like I was more than just another person she had to take care of that night. I can't really put it into words how she made me feel. I guess a DAISY would be a good way to put it; the whole 12-hour shift she never once showed any sign that she was getting tired of me, and I know I was asking a lot of her. She is truly an extraordinary nurse. Thank all of you kindly for all you do.
