Taya Dulcich 2, RN
I would like to nominate Taya, the incredible nurse who cared for me during an unexpected hospitalization following my recent cancer diagnosis. At just 38 years old, receiving such life-altering news was overwhelming- but Taya was a true beacon of light in the midst of that storm.
From the start, she was not only exceptionally kind, compassionate, and supportive, but she also took the time, despite her busy schedule, to sit with me and educate me about what to expect from chemotherapy, sharing helpful tips for managing side effects. She even provided valuable nutritional guidance to help me stay strong through treatment.
What stood out the most was her constant smile, her patience, and her willingness to go above and beyond, offering help with accessing additional nutritional supplements and always ensuring I felt cared for and empowered. Taya was truly an angel by my side during my second round of chemo, and I will never forget the comfort and strength she brought during such a vulnerable time.
