June 2026 Honoree
Taygan Landrey, RN
While my daughter L had to leave her room for a procedure, she came back to find a whole stack of crafts, paints, and activities, which we later learned Taygan requested for L since she couldn't visit the Teen Room. She took time to get to know L, make jokes with her, and help cheer her up even when she felt her worst. She always advocated for L, promptly requested medications, and prioritized L over her own lunch break. She overheard us discussing possible hotels and referred us to the social worker. This eventually helped us connect to the Ronald McDonald House, which was a lifesaver, helping us not travel so far to and from home and take care of so many of our needs, as we are so far from home. And none of that would have been possible without the thoughtfulness and compassionate actions of Taygan. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you, Taygan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
