Tayler Cornell, RN

It's not one particular story or situation that makes Tayler so special, it's the way she consistently shows up for her patients. She pauses and takes the time to really listen. My husband's shower had no hot water, although he is required to take one each day. Tayler put in work orders, and when maintenance didn't have a quick fix, she arranged for us to move rooms. Every time she enters the room, she smiles. Tayler is funny, kind, empathetic, and so skilled at what she does. During one of the hardest times we have ever dealt with, she made our days brighter and easier. During her days off or days she gets assigned elsewhere, we miss her. All of the nurses do a good job, but Tayler does an exceptional job, and she makes me feel like she is family. Even today I was concerned because a procedure was taking longer than expected and she bumped into me in the hall and took time to explain why. I have also been impressed by how patient she is with brand-new nurses and what a wonderful teacher she is. Tayler is exceptional and should be celebrated. She is simply amazing.
