September 2024 Honoree
Taylor Anderson, RN
When I came in, I was anxious and nervous about the pain I would feel afterward. She was the first nurse on the shift who was willing to listen to why I was so scared of the medicine wearing off and being in pain. She was attentive while I explained I had an abdominoplasty, and the pain of my recovery was excruciating. This nurse was patient, went over everything, and took it slow, not overdoing it. She checked in on me often, each time asking my pain level and reminding me I had options. She was gentle, like removing my catheter or my IV line. She was sweet and respectful. My water cup was never empty. Having this wonderful nurse on your staff was a blessing. I want everyone to know how amazing she is.
Thank you, Taylor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
