June 2019 Honoree
taylor bonam, RN
When patients are very ill, often it's the "little things" that mean the most to them. Taylor was nominated by a patient who described her as "very compassionate, sympathetic and good with her nursing skills." The "little thing" that meant so much to this patient was that when he asked her to sing to him, she did! The patient recounts how much this meant to him and even credits this musical care with making him feel better and helping him sleep. Thanks, Taylor, for creating a bit of joy for this patient during his stay in SICU.
Thank you, Taylor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
