I have been working with Taylor in the COVID Unit. She went above and beyond with one of our COVID patients today. There was a patient with severe mental delays and learning disabilities. Taylor stayed in the room with this patient for over an hour feeding her breakfast by hand, laughing, joking, and just making this patient smile. Taylor came out of the room, covered in sweat after doffing her PPE. She had to provide nectar thick liquids and mechanically soft foods, she spoon-fed this patient who hadn't eaten much over the last 2 days. It was very heartwarming to see a nurse invest so much attention to detail.
