January 2026 Honoree
Taylor Comella -Ross, RN
When my nurse, Taylor, came on, I was feeling very anxious and scared. Vulnerable. I am so different in my life. Surgeries and COPD, a fractured hip, and I didn’t slow down by much and was back to pretty much normal. This time, my heart rate wouldn’t slow down and stop jumping around. It really scared me. Taylor was calm, almost like an aura, while explaining A-fib to me, and I started to calm down. In the ER, I had the heck scared out of me. When the heart is mentioned, it’s. Scary, but this can be controlled with medication and rest. I’m very glad that I met this nurse, Taylor.
Thank you, Taylor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
