Taylor has been a true advocate for the nursing profession encouraging change in the mental health challenges of nursing students and nurses addressing staffiing issues and workplace violence.
Taylor is the president of the Arkansas and National Student Nurses' Association representing over 30000 student nurses across the country. This past summer Taylor attended the American Nurses Association's Membership Assembly and was recognized for her work in supporting student nurses. Taylor has experience working in long-term care setting but has aspirations to work in pediatric ICU working with the most vulnerable patients. Taylor has been a true advocate for the nursing profession encouraging change in the mental health challenges of nursing students and nurses addressing staffiing issues and workplace violence. Taylor has known she wanted to be a nurse early on. In her last year of high school she received her EMT basic certification followed by becoming a certified hospice volunteer in her Freshman year of college. Taylor has been a true leader for all nursing students and wants to ensure that nursing students follow the same path.
