Taylor Crook, Registered Nurse

You've got a nurse on your staff who is truly a gem. I have been going through heck these last five and a half years of hospitals/nursing homes/transitional care units. Taylor needs to be recognized for the care that I have received. When I called for medication, Taylor was there; even when I called for a bed change, she came in minutes. Taylor always told me I was due for medication, asking me always, do I need anything before I leave the room. Never ever have I received care from any nurse throughout my sixty-eight years the way I did from Taylor. When getting out of bed to take care of my wound care, while in the bathroom, Taylor was cleaning the bedding, or when coming back to the chair, it was always clean and ready for me. When I had my discharge papers, Taylor pointed out the new medications, when to start them, which one was to be taken, and when. As I was getting dressed, she mentioned the buttons were crooked and redid the buttons for me. Taylor also made sure my wound was taken care of and that I understood why and how to clean the wound, including the correct medications to apply. I have been dealing with this wound for two and a half years, and Taylor made sure it was clean and that I was pain-free prior to going home. Please give Taylor recognition for her nursing practice and for always being there for me. Because of the care Taylor provided, I am going to donate some lifting chairs to the hospital next month.
