We gave birth to our first child here at CRH. After 11+ hours of active labor, we had a c-section for failure to progress. Understandably, this was a very stressful event, especially for mom. After getting wrapped up down at Labor and Delivery, Taylor was our first nurse getting us set up at Mother and Baby. Nurse Taylor went above and beyond what we expected in every aspect. She was amazingly friendly, helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. We never felt uneasy or unsure while we were in her care. Beyond that she made us feel like she really cared. Not just, “I’m here to do my job” but “I’m here because I care about you and want you to recover.” In all these ways, Nurse Taylor stood out among her peers as an exceptionally great nurse.

Unfortunately, the night of our discharge, we had to rush mom back to the ER. After nearly 8 hours of stressful waiting in the ER, we could not have been more relieved when the first nurse we saw upon transfer to mother and baby was Taylor. Once again, we were able to relax and have our stress relieved thanks to the high-quality care we received from Taylor. All this being said, we could not be more thankful for the care we received from Taylor not once, but twice.
